Blue ruffly nails. You can find details about the polishes I used for this mani on my blog!
Can you tell I bought some nail art supplies recently? These nails are done using gold and silver foils, which I bought from Born Pretty Store. I painted on my base colours (Urban Outfitters Cocktail and Crowded) and cut my foils (which come in little folded sheets and are very, very thin and light) into smaller squares. Then nail by nail I painted another coat and pressed the foil onto the nail varnish while it was still sticky. I used a wet cotton bud to smooth out the foil and then pulled off/trimmed the edges, before sealing with a topcoat. I think it looks pretty cool and I’ll definitely try more colour and design combinations. I imagine nails that were completely foiled would look good as well!
I love pastel and neon together but neons never photograph well! Trust me, it was super bright. This is China Glaze Shocking Pink with Urban Outfitters Crowded. The pattern is based on this tutorial, which I’ve had on my to-do list for ages!
