I know I know more teal and orange. But I was happy with this ikat manicure. Polish details on my blog.
Trying out one of the new Barry M textured polishes - what do you think? My thoughts are on my blog.
Here’s a nice combo with a different kind of black and white glitter: W7’s Salt n Pepper. More pics on my blog.
Leopard print and glitter mix - sparkly and fun. See my blog for polishes used etc.
This blue, gold and teal mani uses Accessorize nail speckle in ‘Damselfly’ which is pretty beautiful I think! Read about it and see a closeup on my blog.
Blue ruffly nails. You can find details about the polishes I used for this mani on my blog!
What a satisfyingly chunky glitter (I’ll say nothing about the painful process of removing it…). This is The Living Daylights from OPI’s James Bond collection. More on my blog!
I started these off as just a glitter gradient but as usual took it over the top by adding the pink stars. They’re silly but at Christmas I think silly is OK?! More chat and a closeup on the blog.
Hello all and happy new year! I haven’t been online much over the Christmas period so a few festive nail designs left to upload, it is still winter after all… I started off these ones as just tasteful stripes but then I couldn’t resist adding the snowflakes on top. My flatmate thinks it looks like wrapping paper which is OK by me! More on the blog as usual.
Simple one today: Topshop Panther over Topshop Green Room. More chat and another pic on my blog!
Pansies: I used a matte topcoat (from Rimmel) to make them look more soft and vintage-y. The base colour is China Glaze Kinetic Candy and design inspiration comes from this tutorial by BlogNailedIt: she was more restrained and only put one pansy on each nail but of course I had to have them ALL OVER.
90s glitter party! The glitter is Amethyst from the new Barry M jewel glitters collection, over black, and the zigzags were done mainly with nail art pens. I took a closeup of the glitter so let me know if you’d like to see that, too!
Hi all! Sorry for the long hiatus: I was in the States for six weeks so I didn’t have much time to do my nails. But now I am back with my three most recent manicures! This was my first attempt at peacock nails, I’m reasonably pleased with it (not so happy with the photo) but I think next time I’ll paint in the feathers in gold, this look is a bit more abstract.
Nautical mix up (sorry about the pants photo, misplaced my camera)
When I did this I was thinking snakeskin but now thinking it looks more like lace…
